We've spent over twenty years inside UK sales and recruitment teams. Managing pipelines, hitting targets, building processes, and hiring people. Not advising from the sidelines. Actually doing it.
We started Bradford & Marsh because we saw the same problems everywhere: businesses wasting money on broken processes, good candidates lost to slow hiring, and agencies that post adverts and hope for the best.

MANAGING DIRECTOR
Over twenty years in recruitment and financial services, with a background as a mortgage underwriter that brings rare commercial fluency in regulated industries. Founded Bradford & Marsh on the principle that clients should deal directly with the people doing the work, not be passed through a chain of account managers. Direct, commercially sharp, and genuinely interested in solving the problem in front of him rather than performing the answer. Reads people and situations quickly, and has little time for the polish-over-substance theatre that defines a lot of consultancy.
OPS & RECRUITMENT MANAGER
Fifteen years across recruitment and sales, leading sourcing, outbound activity, and the structural side of how the firm delivers. Methodical where Michael is intuitive, Max is the person who turns a good idea into a working process and makes sure it actually happens. Commercially sharp, calm under pressure, and the steadying force in any project. Candidates and clients consistently come back to Max because he does what he says he will, when he said he would.
How we work together
We've worked together long enough to know where each of us adds value, and where to get out of the other's way. Michael leads on commercial conversations, market positioning, and the human side of every brief. Max leads on delivery: sourcing, process, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks. Between us, every client gets both ends of the work without the politics of a bigger firm. It's a small team by design.
